This page covers reconnecting the hybrid Volkswagen Golf Mk7 brake pedal to its servo — hold the push rod's ball head in front of the mounting and push until it clicks into place.

–  Hold ball head of push rod in front of mounting and push brake pedal in direction of brake servo, so that the ball head clicks into place.
–  Check engagement by pulling briefly on brake pedal.
Continue installation in reverse order.
