Detach cover and padding only in area of Bowden cable

Unclip connecting piece -2- with Bowden
cable -1- from backrest frame

Unclip Bowden cable -1- from retainer

Push Bowden cable -1- out of cable
support bracket -arrow C- of locking
mechanism for rear seat backrest -3-. |

Detach pin of Bowden cable -1- from
release mechanism for rear seat backrest -3-,
and remove Bowden cable -1-. |

Remove luggage compartment side trim

Remove remote release operating mechanism for seat backrest
→ Chapter. |

Unclip Bowden cable -1- from
retainers -2- on luggage
compartment side trim, and remove it. |
