Note: LED modules -L176-/-L177- are only fitted on gas discharge headlights, and this procedure does not apply to GTE. This page covers their removal on other Volkswagen Golf Mk7 models.

Left LED module for daytime running light and side light -L176- and right LED module for daytime running light and side light -L177- are only fitted on gas discharge headlights.
The daytime running light and side lights (LEDs) are integrated in the headlight. These LEDs cannot be renewed. If one of the LEDs fails, the entire headlight needs to be renewed.
