Volkswagen Golf Mk7 Service & Repair Manual: Removing and installing ESP sensor unit -G419-

The Volkswagen Golf Mk7 ESP sensor unit -G419- combines the lateral acceleration sender -G200-, yaw rate sender -G202- and longitudinal acceleration sender -G251-, installed together with the electromechanical parking brake control unit.

The lateral acceleration sender -G200-, the yaw rate sender -G202- and the longitudinal acceleration sender -G251- are installed together with the control unit for electromechanical parking brake -J540- in the ABS control unit -J104-.
The components cannot be renewed individually.

    How do I remove the Golf Mk7 ESP sensor unit -G419-?
    Located on the floor tunnel. Disconnect the connector, unbolt and remove. A new unit must be calibrated via diagnostics — it measures yaw rate and lateral acceleration.
