Assembly overview - rear belt buckle

1 -  Left double belt buckle
  • With rear belt switch, driver side -E258-
  • Removing and installing → Chapter
  • Always renew after belt tensioner has deployed with seat belt fastened
  • Press on belt buckle when bolting it on
  • Must rest flat against contact surface
2 -  Centre belt buckle
  • With rear centre belt switch -E609-
  • Removing and installing → Chapter
  • Always renew after belt tensioner has deployed with seat belt fastened
  • Press on belt buckle when bolting it on
  • Must rest flat against contact surface.
3 -  Right belt buckle with rear centre belt end fitting
  • With rear belt switch, front passenger side -E259-
  • Removing and installing → Chapter
  • Always renew after belt tensioner has deployed with seat belt fastened
  • Must rest flat against contact surface when tightening nut
4 -  Nut
  • If removed due to an accident with seat belt fastened, renew bolt
  • 40 Nm
5 -  Electrical connections
  • For rear belt switch, front passenger side -E259
6 -  Nut
  • If removed due to an accident with seat belt fastened, renew bolt
  • 40 Nm
7 -  Electrical connections
  • For rear belt switch, driver side -E258- and rear centre belt switch -E609
