The Volkswagen Golf Mk7 front brake system type is indicated by the PR number on the vehicle data sticker — this page explains where to find that sticker, in the spare wheel well.

The type of brake system installed in the vehicle is indicated among other things by the corresponding PR number on the vehicle data sticker.
